Well the game I'm trying to get working is Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 which I just bought on GOG.com, by default it uses very low resolutions which is part of the reason why I can't get into it but the thing is this minimizing back to the desktop thing shouldn't be happening. Also, try setting the game to a different resoltion.

If it is a laptop w/ NVIDIA GPU, it may help to force the NVIDIA GPU as the preferred default in NVIDIA Control Panel, as some games may launch by default using the Intel GPU, which would of course be an issue, as the game performance would be sorely lacking if it runs off the Intel GPU. Bottom line here is to weed out what items are causing problems. You can always reverse this later on, or be more selective of what Startup Items actually are enabled. Plus are u running as an Admin, or have your trusted apps like Steam and/or Games setup in their file properties to 'Run As Admin' otherwise they might not launch correctly. After some fiddling arounds with pacman -U and S, I was able to login, but alas, now at the login prompt, the secondary monitor is blank, but at least the primary is working and shows the login prompt.ДЄnyway, my settings, for helping you out: Today after updating I've just got blank screens and seg faults at sddm-help.
